These Terms govern your use of docx2pdf.app (the “Site”), operated by Long Ha. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What the Site does
Docx2Pdf provides a free tool that converts Microsoft Word documents (.docx) into PDF files inside your web browser, along with informational articles about working with documents. The conversion runs on your own device; your files are not uploaded to us. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and only with documents you own or are authorised to handle. You agree not to:
- use the Site to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that you have no right to convert;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Site or its security; or
- copy, scrape, or redistribute the Site’s code or content except as permitted below.
3. Intellectual property
The Site’s design, code, and written articles are the property of Long Ha and are protected by copyright, except for third-party open-source libraries used to power the converter, which remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their own licences. You may read and share links to our articles, but you may not republish them wholesale without permission.
The documents you convert remain entirely yours. We claim no rights over them and, since they never leave your device, we never receive them.
4. No warranty
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we work hard to make conversions faithful, we do not guarantee that every document will convert perfectly, that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a converted PDF will be suitable for any particular purpose. Document layout can vary depending on fonts, images, and the device you use.
5. Your responsibility to review output
You are responsible for checking any PDF the tool produces before you rely on it, send it, print it, or submit it — particularly for important documents such as contracts, applications, or official forms. Always open the finished PDF and review it page by page.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Long Ha and Docx2Pdf will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Site or any document produced by it. Your use of the Site is at your own risk.
7. Third-party links and advertising
The Site displays advertising served by Google and may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those advertisers or sites. Interacting with them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
